Christian is a native of Marion, Indiana and a 1999 graduate of Oak Hill High School in Converse, Indiana. He undertook his undergraduate studies at Ball State University, where he majored in English, German, and Philosophy. He performed his graduate studies at Indiana University, Bloomington, where he was an active participant in the Maurer School of Law’s Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition, finishing as a Quarterfinalist and serving on the moot court board. He also served as an Articles Editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies. In 2009, Christian relocated to Lake County, Indiana and began practicing law. He currently resides in Highland.
Christian has long been a travel enthusiast, completing his first legal internship with a small law firm in Accra, Ghana. He was his law school’s first American participant in a semester exchange program with the Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena, Germany and has also lived and studied in Regensburg and Dresden, Germany, Prague, and Senegal. In addition to travel, he maintains a significant interest in the arts, serving on the Board of Directors for the Dunes Summer Theatre, as well as drawing, painting, and playing piano and guitar in his free time.
